An Afternoon at the Lavender Farm
I recently had a chance to visit our nearby lavender farm with some friends from church. Kerwin and I take afternoon walks on the weekends and like to walk there. After all, it's a lavender farm and lavender is only my favorite essential oil! It was fun to go on an afternoon adventure with friends without having to get on the freeway. The lavender farm is only a mile from our house.
I was relieved to see everyone had a hat on since the temperature was in the high 70s. We were thankful for the cool, valley breeze, which made it feel much cooler. It was 1 PM so the light was a bit harsh and bright for photos, but we still had a marvelous time taking photos.
Here are some of my favorite images from our time at the lavender farm.
It smelled absolutely amazing outside the store! As I walked closer to the open door leading to the store, I started wishing I lived there.
The culinary lavender shelf was one of my favorite shelves. I bought a container of dried culinary lavender…which means only one thing!
Lavender recipes! I will be sharing those with you over the next week.
I can't wait to share my favorite homemade lavender recipes with you! They're perfect for hot summer days. Did I mention they're vegan and gluten-free, too? I'll be posting one of those recipes this week.
